Clinical Effectiveness Approach Leads - Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

Part Time - 2 -4 sessions per week (1 - 2 days)

£12,000 per session per week

The Clinical Effectiveness Approach (CEA), jointly led by the GP Federations and NHS Southwark CCG, aims to translate best practice into quality improvements in order to reduce unwarranted variation in clinical outcomes across the borough.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for (up to three) Clinicians to provide clinical leadership to this new quality improvement initiative in Southwark.

Ideally either based at a Southwark Primary Care Service, or experience of previously working with a Southwark health provider in a quality improvement capacity, or working for an organsiation that has impacted on care delivery in Southwark; the successful candidates (up to three posts available) will be required to provide leadership of a small CEA Delivery Team, whilst working closely with Primary Care colleagues and other key stakeholders, to develop and deliver quality improvements using a range of quality improvement functions.

It is anticipated that the three available posts would be resourced as follows;

One Clinician providing two days clinical leadership per week

Two Clinicians providing one days clinical leadership per week
