Medical Receptionist – Camberwell Green Surgery, SE5
35 hours / week
£9.20 / hour (on successful completion of probationary period)

 
We are a busy GP practice seeking a professional receptionist to join our friendly team. This role will involve dealing with patients at our busy front desk, reception admin and call handling. We are an EMIS Web practice so experience with this would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30 – 18:30 plus Thursday 12:00 till 20:00.  You will have an hour lunch break and a paid 20 minute tea break.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills: both face-to-face and on the telephone; ability to work independently and as part of a team; demonstrate good IT and admin skills (experience in MS Word and excel preferred) with the ability to assimilate information quickly.

Medical Receptionists - St Giles Surgery, Dr Rosemen & Partners, SE5

Part time: 30 hours / week (one position)

Salary £9.50 / hour

We are a friendly, busy, supportive and forward-looking practice.  We have a multi-skilled team and are recruiting for a further Medical Receptionist.

The successful candidate will work with the team to deliver excellent customer service demonstrating both professionalism and enthusiasm. We are looking for flexible, reliable, highly motivated & dynamic candidates with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to provide safe, timely and quality support to our patients and clinical team. We are proud of the amazing patient feedback the practice receives about our reception and clinical team.

Experience of using EMIS Web is desirable and a solution orientated, organised & calm approach to dealing with patients is essential. In addition to reception duties, there are administration duties including scanning and processing documents using Docman, prescriptions, E-referrals and other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Practice Manager.

The role is 1 part time receptionist (25-30 hours) per week to be worked over 5 days.  Potential candidate must be able to undertake the shifts associated with the post which could be between 07:30 to 1830. Flexibility is also essential to cover holidays and sickness.
