Medical Receptionist & Administrator - Villa Street Medical Centre, SE17

26 hours / week - two positions available

£10.20 / hour (£13.20 for hours worked before 9am)

We are a busy GP surgery looking for two organised, approachable and calm people to join our friendly and supportive administration team on a long term permanent contract. We will provide full training and ongoing career development in the role. The practice frequently receives excellent feedback about our reception team for being helpful and welcoming; we see these positions as integral to the smooth running of our practice, enabling us to provide high-quality care for all of our patients.

The successful candidates will have the ability to understand the differing needs of others and be able to prioritise these within their own workloads; be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; enjoy working as part of a team whilst also having the confidence to work independently. Reliable attendance and timekeeping are essential and some flexibility to cover different shifts as overtime would be desirable.

Weekly schedule for position #1:

Monday: 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Tuesday: 12.00pm - 8pm

Wednesday: day off

Thursday: 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Friday: 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Weekly schedule for position #2:

Monday: day off

Tuesday: 12.00pm - 8pm

Wednesday: 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Thursday: 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Friday: 7.45am - 1.45pm

Medical Receptionist & Administrator - Albion Street Group Practice, SE16

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £10.20 per hour

 

Albion Street Group Practice is a large GP surgery looking for an organised, friendly and calm person to join our busy administration team.

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the differing needs of others and be able to prioritise these within their own workloads; be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; enjoy working as part of team whilst also having the confidence to work independently. Reliable attendance and timekeeping are essential and some flexibility to cover different shifts as overtime would be desirable. We see our administration team as being integral to the smooth running of our practice, enabling us to provide high-quality care for all of our patients. Previous experience of working in healthcare is desirable although we will provide full training for the successful candidate.

 

We are located minutes from both the Rotherhithe over-ground station as well as the Jubilee line at Canada Water. The position is full time and will be between the hours of 7am – 8pm Monday – Friday.
